I Have Returned

After a few days off from the blogging world, I am back. The end of last week was spent in Auburn and that put a huge dent in my blogging practices, but never fear I am back in my jail cell (cube). For some reason I feel like my cube at work inspires me to blog. It must be the environment that I am in. Oh well, back to Auburn...What a great way to spend a week at work. There is nothing better than enjoying three days of meals on "The Man", or in my case "The Women". Don't worry, I hit all the hot spots, Barbecue House, Mellow Mushroom, Mamma G's, etc. and I definitely ate like a king. Another great thing about going to Auburn for work is that at 1PM on Friday, I was playing home run derby over on Dumas Drive. It is the closest I will ever get to feeling like a major league baseball player. I mean the first pitch that was thrown at me I swung and completely missed, but thought to myself..."I just got paid for that strike." Well I would like to thank Lewis, Rabun, and Tyler for the comfortable accommodations. Thanks to Whaley for letting me use his makeshift driving range, although very dangerous. Brumberg, thanks for the bat for home run derby. Anna/Lydia thanks for the company at the meals since my HR lady wouldn't join me. Alex the entertainment on Friday was priceless...more to come on you. Wellon/Stephen I enjoyed seeing you two love birds. To everyone...thanks for making last week one of the top 5 working weeks in my career.
