Driving in Atlanta

Since I work 45 miles from where I live, I get the awesome privilege of driving a good bit here in Atlanta. Some of the highlights of my driving career in the city include, a cracked blinker light, cracked wind shield, which has run all the way across, an oil change a month, a tank a gas a week, 20,000 miles on my car since June of 2004, a dirty car all the time, endless amounts of time in traffic, 2 hours being my longest commute, a birdie from some thug, and multiple near misses on wrecks. So to sum it up...It has been very enjoyable and relaxing to commute to work everyday.

I would first like to announce that this is my first response to one of your blogs. How exciting. Although i only drive 30 seconds, if that, to school everyday, I have to agree that Atlanta has not been good to my car. Actually, I'm not good to my car regardless of where i reside. Anyways, to name a few, chipped paint from the man who rear ended me on 285- he only tapped me so i let him off, need we not forget the golden rule. There's also a really bad dent from where i backed into a pole in a parking garage. Not to mention the oil that really needs to be changed, but I would rather put the $25 towards a new pair of jeans. But here's a question, when is a good time to take off the greek letters? Now that's something to think about...
