2005 Goals (Continued)

On a more serious note, I have had time to think about some of my goals for the year ahead. As I checked my bank account yesterday, I realized how much money I spend on eating out. I won't discuss numbers here b/c it is slightly embarassing how much I spend on food compared to anything else. Luckily my mother has given me some tips on how to cook over the years, so this food thing is going to get taken care of. I need to save money on food, therefore I have come to my first official goal of the new year. I am going to get on a budget, and start cooking more meals. I have kind of been terrified by the "B" word as of late, but that will have to stop. This now means I have to suck it up and spend more time in the grocery. This also means I need suggestions on what to cook. Please send your suggestions.

You should talk to Greg. He makes a wide variety of dishes including grilled cheese on cinnamon bread and everyone's favorite combination, boiled shrimp and blueberries.

I eat alot of frozen pizzas, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and tv dinners. But that is just me. It is extremely cheap and doesn't take any time to prepare. The frozen stir fry dinners are good. all you do is add water in a skillet and heat it up. Eggs are always cheap and a high source of protein. Just a few ideas from someone who also hates the "B" word ~mark
