The Great Debate

Every morning I have a 45 min. commute to work and a lot of thoughts dance in my head. This thought was a carryover from the evening prior. Last night while Will and I were sitting over at "The Terrace" with Katie, Catie, and Betsy a lively discussion was sparked by an interesting move that Katie made. As we are watching a tivo'd episode of American Idol, Will, with his eagle eyes, spots Katie lifting her arm and smelling her arm pits. kind of gross, I know, but we have all done it before. Apparently she was very interested in her own aroma, which there was a funky smell in the house. Not real sure if it was Katie's B.O. or Will just passing gas on the other side of the room. So, we start to name the deodorants that we used everyday. Katie-Secret, Catie-Secret, Will-Right Guard (Stick), Betsy-Roll on that her mom buys, and Me-Right Guard(Spray) An interesting point was brought up by Betsy. She said that if you change deodorants, the new one will not work. I have found this to be true too. If I don't use my Right Guard, Powder Dry, Spray-On deodorant, aka Locker Room Deodorant, I tend to feel a little moisture in my pits during the course of the day. This brings me to my first question. When you change your deodorant from your regular one, does it create abnormal amounts of moisture in your pits? This second question I will leave open for debate. Which deodorant is the best: Spray-On, Roll On, Anti perspirant, or Gel. Personally, I am a spray-on guy. It got me through junior high, High School, College, and it seems to be working in my Post Graduate years. I mean in the words of Greg, "you've got to dance with the one that brought you here." So today, take a little time out of your busy working/class schedules and take a sniff of your pits, and think about your deodorant and how effective it is.

I am so thankful you didn't mention the farting conversation. Save that for another day. And, btw, what happened to the 'anonymous' name thing? Nonetheless, I like the shout out.

Betsy, you just mentioned the fart conversation...comments are posted for everyone to see. And yes, I was passing gas as Katie was sniffing pits (surely she didn't smell it). And Gray--better yet, Greg--do you really have to dance with the one who brought you? Sure wish I had learned that one before now...
