Wedding Profile

Looking at my calendar this morning, I realized that I will be making a full fledged wedding tour come late May and June. Four weddings in Five weeks. 3 trips to Birmingham, AL and 1 to Jackson, MS. There must be some romantic touch in the water supply the Magic City. So, since I have realized that I will be making this tour, I have decided to profile one of these weddings, Henderson Gray Fiser style that is. (I also promised Maggie I would blog about her.) Yes, Maggie Carter and Tyler O'Connor will be exchanging vows on May 28, 2005 in Birmingham, AL. The spark of M&T's relationship started with a little political office romance...No not like Bill and Monica, this was clean. Maggie, running Tyler's campaign, realized what a refined young gentleman she was working for, and decided to capitalize on it. While Tyler was busy being On Top O' the Task ( his slogan for the campaign, which was robbed from him, much like the Miss Homecoming in 2003 with Miss Jordan Orso, we'll save that for another blog), Maggie was right in the thick of things with him. I don't think I have ever seen a campaign run more brilliantly than these two lovers. They both complimented each other like a famous duo. So, the romance started and hit the ground running. Now I jump forward to December 2004 because there is too much in between. I wake early one morning after Christmas to a call from Miss Maggie Carter. In a jubilant voice she told me that her and Tyler had gotten engaged, and then she told me how it happened. I then asked what the ring looked like, not really caring what it looked like, but I think girls that are engaged like when you ask about it. Anyhoo, the description sounded great, and apparently Tyler had done a magnificent job ring shopping. So, now Maggie will be moving back to Bham from New York here in the near future. Congratulations on the engagement, and I can't wait for the wedding!!! Now that I have blogged about Maggie, I want to talk about the reception. I really want Maggie and Tyler to have egg rolls at their wedding reception. I have been pushing for this since December and it doesn't look like it is going to happen.
